Siblings – 7 month Old and 2 Year Old – Baby and Child Photography
It’s been a very busy past week, lots of agent headshots and residential virtual tours. It’s always nice to slow down (hahaha, slow down when shooting a 2 year old 
…) and enjoy some kids. Here is a couple of adorable kids we had in the studio today for the portrait contest, it was so hard to choose my favorites, but I finally dwindled it down to these…and yes the outdoor shots are here by our studio.

Cute Cousins – Child Photography
What a fun morning we had Monday, we photographed our first portrait contest shoot of the year ( the contest goes until May 31st), a pair of cousins ages 2 and 3. Between the bubbles, dancing, and playing dress up, we got some great stuff. Here’s a few of our favorites.

Enterprise High Winter Formal – High School Dance Photographer
This week was filled with lots of residential virtual tours, so it was a nice break this weekend to do a homecoming and formal dance. Saturday evening Jan 21st. we photographed a winter formal for Enterprise High. The theme was ‘Dancing in the Moonlight”. We designed a 3-D set unique for this dance (as we do for all our formal posed events) and had some fun with creative lighting to give it a nighttime feel. Here’s a couple of candids with the backdrop we designed.

Baby Faith – 2 1/2 month Old girl – Newborn and Infant Photography
What a sweetheart. Little Faith is just 2.5 months old. Babies are my favorite subjects. Although they are not the easiest at times, little Faith was extremely cooperative! Here’s a few of my favorites from her shoot. – Wendy

Matt and Amy’s Wedding – Wedding Photography
Well our last wedding of 2006 was Dec 17th and we were greatful to be working with such a fun couple, Matt & Amy. They had their wedding at Church of the Foothills in Cameron Park, CA. And their reception at a nearby Inn. The church was decorated with Rich Reds and white poinsettas. Absolutely gorgeous! Space for being creative was a little tight, the only place to take photos was in the main church building, there was a lot of construction on the exterior and since it was a late wedding, by the time we got to the reception, it was too dark to do much outside, although we did get a little creative with the Christmas Lights on the exterior fences. So here’s a few of our favorites and Matt and Amy, we wish you the best!! Thanks for sharing this day with us!

Welcome and Engagement Photography
Well here we go, catching a breathe here in the New Year to begin a blog documenting our photography studio in Redding, CA. So, Welcome! 2007 has already been exciting for us. It is our first true year in our new studio. We bought the studio at the beginning of Senior Portrait Season in July and it has been an incredible whirlwind ever since! So we hope you’ll join us on our journey, read about our experiences and say hello every now and then!
Here is a pic from the Engagement Session of Matt & Amy. They were our last wedding for 2006 which will be our next entry!
