Photos of Lightning Storm in Redding
Taking a break from posting our regular stuff…last night there was an incredible lightning storm here in Redding and we had front row seats to the action from the deck of our home. Here’s a handful of my favorite shots we photographed last night! Lightning can be tricky to catch, but when you do, it’s power is just amazing!
HUGE NEWS! – MODELING CONTRACT WON!
Well we have been posting about Ricky, our SPA model who won a national competition to go to Palm Springs for an exclusive modeling trip. Well, he just completed his fashion show and low and behold, he won the AIG modeling contract. THIS IS HUGE!!! CONGRATS Ricky! We are so proud of you!

This heart shaped tree was taken on the coast this past fall (with my camera phone I might add). We were on a senior portrait session on the beach, it was too cool. We even used it for some of her photos

Hello from Yosemite..Wedding Photography
Just a quick shot of some waterfalls by Glacier Point that I shot right after the wedding today. The sun was basically gone, but with our trusty tripod I was still able to capture this beautiful valley. She grew up in Chile and most of her friends there were not able to make it, so we made it a point to post a few images right away for them to enjoy the day Tons of wedding pictures from the last few weeks and another wedding from today coming soon!
Off to Los Angeles for the Weekend
Well we have several phtoography shoots this weekend in Los Angeles so we’ll be closed for a few days. It’s so fun to go photograph in unique places. We’ll post some images when we get back. Have a great weekend everyone!
New Websites Are Done!!
If you are a regular follower of our blog you will notice it has been a while since we last posted. As you can see we have been very busy reconfiguring everything online. When we first bought the studio 4 years ago we had to integrate our old business into the new studio business. We never brought the 2 together, but knew at some point we would have to. Well that point came a few months ago, it was time to join our 2 identities into 1. So we brought our websites together and joined our graphics to become Creative Portraits Studio by TWKerr Photography. Basically our studio work is known as Creative Portraits and our Portraits and Weddings outside of Redding are known as TWKerr Photography. We are still going to maintain separate sites, but will be sharing images between them to save us time on blogging!! So that’s it! We’re still fine tuning things are have to load the new graphics for our ReddingCreativePortraits.com main site, but a little at a time! We hope you enjoy the new look and feel free to comment anytime! By The Way, Did you see our new photo on the sidebar? One of our 11 year old twins took it of us a few weeks ago!
