SENIOR PORTRAIT CONTACTS & GUIDELINES

To ensure quality portraits that look great in your yearbook, we have selected several local, professional photographers who are aware of our guidelines and agree to abide by them. This also makes the process of uploading photos onto our yearbook pages much easier because they are coming from a limited number of sources; last year the yearbook adviser had to upload over 250 CDs of pictures, some of which were not acceptable for yearbook due to image quality, image size, clothing choices, etc. The photographers are eager to work with you for the best possible yearbook portrait; they offer portrait packages at a variety of price ranges and quantity of poses, clothing changes, and backgrounds, however, if you want a yearbook portrait only, they will accommodate that also. Guidelines:

*pose and attire must be acceptable for a student publication

*color picture only (black & white, and sepia photos will not be accepted)

*vertical (portrait) pose

*above the waist pose

*one portrait per student

*no props, pets, hats, sunglasses, hand gestures, clothing with inappropriate words/images

*bottom line: we want YOU to be the focus of the portrait
